Will Someone with Mad Blog Design Skillz Please Stand Up?!

Well, seeing as I committed to creating an amazing blog, I think my efforts have successfully caused me to ruin it. I hate plainness. If something can be made to look more beautiful, I try to make it happen. Therefore, when I was saddened by the lack of font choices for my blog (and let's admit it- all 5 font choices suck), I sought after a way to make it more beautiful. After perusing my friends-who-have-awesome-blogs blogs', I found a way to improve my font! Or so I thought....

After about an hour of downloading all these fonts, creating a website in order to use these fonts, and following the detailed directions and pretty much re-writing computer code to put these fonts on my blog, nothing happened. I think I ruined my blog. Let's face it- I have no idea what I am doing.

So- anyone out there who has an awesome blog, if you could please assist me in my quest to create my own awesome blog, that would be amazing. Please keep in mind I only have about an hour or two per week to dedicate to the awesomeness of my blog- so if you suggest something that takes half a day, I WILL punch you in the face. Also, I am obviously technologically challenged- as you can tell from my failed attempt to make my blog prettier through this font fiasco. So if you feel so inclined to assist me, please stand by the KISS method- "Keep It Simple, Silly!" (I know the last word is supposed to be 'stupid', but if someone is willing to assist me, I wouldn't want to be insulting you now, would I?)

So in short, my blog is not as awesome as I had hoped, but it is a work in progress. If anyone is willing to help me with this work in progress, I would consider it an amazing gift...

New Blog

So... we had a blog before but I was terrible at keeping it up. After being reminded that I have been terrible at blogging, I decided to make a change. I went to post something on my blog, and I couldn't remember the stinkin' password! Now, I don't usually confuse myself by having several passwords, so I didn't understand why the 3 or so I tried didn't work. I attempted to have the password emailed to myself but that didn't work out either. The email that was sent to me was useless and ended up being a huge hassle that still didn't end with me getting my password. Therefore, I decided just to start over.

I figured most people wouldn't be too disappointed as:

a.) My blog wasn't terribly interesting
b.) I didn't have a ton of followers- and
c.) Those who did follow my blog probably realized I hadn't touched it in like a year or so, so it's not like they'll notice anything has changed (unless they have faith in this new blog and decide to follow it...)

So in short- I am turning a new leaf. No more boring and sporadic blog posts for me! I am going to become an amazing blogger. I will try my best to make weekly posts about all the fun and trouble Nate and I are getting into. I will also commit to post pictures! (If I ever get around to taking any...) And, I will try to make this blog as cute as possible. I have already been snooping on my friends' blogs to see what websites you all use for your cute templates ; )

Now that these commitments have been made, I will hopefully be more diligent in my blogging. Thank you all for your patience with me.
